Spearmint

(Perennial) (Mentha spicata) Spearmint is about the only mint that comes true from seed. It grows easily, and like all mint, can be invasive if you aren't careful. Makes a nice tea when fresh or dried, great in salads and of course makes great mint juleps and jelly- this is the best cooking mint.
