(80 days) Indeterminate. Dr. Grace Kaiser, a physician to the Amish in New Holland, PA, was given seeds for this variety in 1960 by Hannah Lapp, one of her patients. This is a medium sized (3”), meaty beefsteak type tomato that is meaty yet juicy, with a rich, sweet taste. This did very well for us last year, with a number of tomatoes over a pound- much larger than expected. The heavily-foliaged plants provide good protection for the rose-red fruits and the plant is extremely productive, producing well into the fall after other tomatoes had given up.
