(80-90 days) Given to Seed Savers' Exchange by Jimmy, whose mother brought the seeds to the U.S. with her from Italy in 1887. This popular variety is one of the best for frying, drying, freezing, relishes and salads! On top of that, it's disease-resistant and very productive. Somewhat wrinkled, the 12” long bright red pointed peppers are our favourite for frying and for spaghetti sauce.
