(85 days) Bulgarian heirloom, used for roasting - but also a good sweet pepper. Bright red & very sweet flesh, almost like candy. The pointed fruits are 6" long, 2 to 2 ½” across at the shoulders, ripen from green to red. Does well in cold, wet weather, but performs well for us in our dry summers as well. This is our favourite pepper for freezing, keeping for up to two years- cut in a fine julienne we use them raw in Thai salads all winter.
