(C. chinense) (80-100 days) Supposedly one pepper will flavour 7 pots of chili, hence the name. A blisteringly hot pepper, often classified with the Jolokia's and Trinidad Scorpion as one of the hottest peppers in the world. Fruits generally have a characteristic mottled look, shared amongst the super-hot types. Originally from Trinidad, and several other Caribbean islands. Flavour is extremely hot and rivals some of the hottest peppers in the world.
